What a fishing charter day looks like
Boats leave the marina before sunrise, when marlin, tuna and dorado feed closest to the surface, and most trips run 6–8 hours offshore. Every vessel in the fleet comes rigged — rods, reels, tackle and bait are on board, so you bring sunscreen and a hat and nothing else. Crews clean and bag your catch at the dock, and plenty of marina restaurants will cook it for you the same evening. The same hulls also run as leisure charters, but a fishing day is booked differently: earlier start, tackle rigged, and a route set by where the fish are rather than by the scenery.
Does it pay for itself here?
Half off a private charter is the single biggest line item this pass touches — one booking usually saves several times the price of the pass. If a charter is anywhere in your trip, the $75 stops being a question.
Questions about these deals
How do I use the 50% off on fishing in Los Cabos?
Charters are booked directly with our team — email hola@bajapass.com with your date and target species.
How many fishing partners are included?
11 right now in Los Cabos, and the list grows as we add partners. Your pass works at every one of them for a full 365 days — there is no per-partner limit and no "once only" rule, so you can use the same deal as many times as you like while your pass is valid.
Does the deal cover my travel companion?
Yes. One Baja Pass covers the member and one guest on every deal, which is exactly what makes a 2-for-1 work for a couple. On 2-for-1 offers the free item is the one of equal or lower price. Bigger group? Each pair needs its own pass.
Do I have to book in advance?
Yes — charters are arranged directly with our team by email at hola@bajapass.com, ideally a few days out so your date and boat are still open. Peak weeks (Christmas, New Year, spring break) book out first.
